DAYS PER YEAR: Remainder of the 2025-26 School Year

HOURS PER DAY: 7.25

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master’s degree required
  2. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA certification)
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written communication skills
  4. One or more years of supervised experience developing, training, implementing and monitoring behavior plans for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
  5. Experience training, implementing and monitoring behavior programs

      

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Facilitate functional behavioral assessments as assigned.
  2. Facilitate the development of behavioral programs, teaching methodologies, data collection and progress monitoring.
  3. Provide discrete trial training (DTT) programs for students with diagnosis of autism.
  4. Train and monitor the educators and paraprofessionals responsible for implementation of the individual DTT programs.
  5. Participate in IEP meetings as needed/requested
  6. Generate written reports regarding the behavioral needs of individual students including recommendations for behavioral strategies, picture schedules, or other approaches.
  7. Provide professional learning opportunities for staff, administrators, parents and others as necessary.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
