As SpotDraft scales rapidly in the North American market, we’re building a high-impact post-sales organization that blends relationship depth with commercial rigor. We’re looking for a strategic, revenue-focused Account Manager to lead growth and retention across a portfolio of key customers, while partnering closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to drive long-term value.

Job Summary

As an Account Manager, you will be the commercial owner of a portfolio of strategic and high-growth accounts in North America. In close collaboration with your CSM counterpart, you will drive account strategy, expansion, and retention — with clear ownership of revenue planning, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment.

This is a core revenue-driving role with high visibility and ownership. You'll work cross-functionally with leadership, GTM, and product teams, while also spending significant time on the ground with customers to nurture strategic relationships and seed a vibrant network of internal champions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own revenue targets across your portfolio — including expansion, renewal, and retention quotas
  • Conduct thorough whitespace analysis within accounts to identify and prioritize expansion opportunities (new teams, use cases, product modules
  • Develop detailed strategic account plans outlining key objectives, stakeholder maps, engagement strategies, potential risks, and growth forecasts
  • Partner with CSMs to build joint account strategies focused on value delivery and growth
  • Lead commercial conversations including upsells, cross-sells, renewals, and negotiations
  • Engage in-person with customers regularly (20–40% travel), including onsite visits, QBRs, workshops, and executive briefings
  • Drive strategic alignment with customer decision-makers across Legal, Procurement, IT, and Business teams
  • Seed and grow a community of champions within each account, enabling SpotDraft adoption across business units
  • Initiate and lead customer advocacy efforts, including references, case studies, and advisory board participation
  • Act as a key voice of the customer, systematically gathering and relaying customer feedback, requirements, and market intelligence to Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to influence roadmap and strategy
  • Proactively monitor key account health indicators (e.g., product adoption trends, support tickets, NPS/CSAT scores) in collaboration with CSMs to identify early warning signs and implement retention strategies
  • Identify, track, and proactively mitigate account risks, including competitive threats, changes in executive sponsorship, budget constraints, and low platform adoption

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Account Management, Strategic Sales, or Customer Success with direct revenue ownership
  • Proven ability to hit quotas and deliver on commercial goals in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong experience engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience in revenue planning, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures, procurement processes, security reviews, and multi-year commercial negotiations
  • Willingness to travel frequently across North America to build relationships in person
  • Passion for community-building, customer advocacy, and delivering long-term value

  • Experience working in a dual AM–CSM model or co-owning accounts with Solutions/Success teams
  • Background in legal tech, procurement tools, workflow automation, or B2B infrastructure software
  • Experience helping scale revenue-focused post-sales teams in high-growth SaaS
