Job Title: Spot Quote Desk Pricing Analyst – Freight Forwarding (Air and Ocean)
Location: Gurugram
Type: FTE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize Client approved organizational resources for all quote operations
- Design and deliver quotes for our clients; both internal and external
- Ensure compliance within the Company Sales Policy
- Monitor and review quote logs for win/loss ratio to drive business conversion
- Provide stakeholder guidance during client implementation of business
- Assist Country's Regional resources on other tasks that may be assigned
- Ensure adherence to established productivity standards, KPIs and success ratios set by sales leadership
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of Air and Ocean freight pricing dynamics and an overall understanding of basic freight forwarding processes and cargo steering/routing.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suites, i.e. Excel, PowerBI, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of all regulatory (i.e., Customs) law, practices, and procedures
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
