The Opportunity

Experience: 1–2 years (Freshers with strong hands-on experience and a solid edit reel are welcome)

Role: Contract

We are looking for a Video Editor – Kids Content who will be responsible for compiling animated shots into cohesive long-form videos and creating high-retention short-form content (YouTube Shorts / Reels). This role plays a key part in enhancing storytelling, rhythm, and engagement for young audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and compile animated shots/scenes into engaging long-form kids videos for YouTube.
• Maintain smooth pacing, flow, and visual continuity suitable for kids (ages 1–5).
• Cut sharp, engaging Shorts/Reels from long-form videos with a focus on retention.
• Select, edit, and sync background music (BGM) and sound effects appropriate for kids content.
• Use AI tools to:
• Create or enhance BGM.
• Improve creativity, speed, and overall production quality.
• Add basic motion elements such as:
• Simple text overlays.
• Transitions and visual cues (where required).
• Ensure consistency in video style, branding, and formats across platforms.
• Optimize final videos for:
• YouTube long-form.
• YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels.
• Collaborate closely with animators and content teams to meet production timelines.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing (strong freshers can apply).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
• After Effects (basic knowledge preferred).
• Strong understanding of BGM selection, timing, and sound design for kids content.
• Practical exposure to AI tools for music, editing, or creative enhancement.
• Good sense of storytelling, rhythm, and audience engagement.
• Ability to identify high-impact moments for short-form content.
• Organized workflow and attention to detail.
• Portfolio or sample work showcasing:
• Long-form edits.
• Shorts/Reels (preferred).
