Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur for a Sports Officer. The Sports Officer will be responsible for planning, promoting, and managing sports activities and programs within the university. Responsibilities include organizing and supervising sporting events, maintaining facilities and equipment, fostering student engagement in sports, and ensuring adherence to safety and health regulations. Additionally, the Sports Officer will collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to develop strategies for enhancing the physical education program and improving sports participation among students.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sports management, event organization, and physical education activities
- Experience in supervising, coaching, and mentoring individuals or teams
- Knowledgeable about sports regulations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance
- Strong communication, team collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to implement and adhere to institutional policies with organizational and time management efficiency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
- Prior experience working in an academic or sports administrative setting is an added advantage
- Dedication to fostering a healthy and active campus environment
