Educational Qualification:
B.P.Ed. or B. Sc. / M.Sc. Sports Coaching or MBA in Sports Management, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field of Physical Education and Sports Co-ordinator and having computer skills. Experience of having played at State/University/National level will be an added advantage.
Your duties as Sports Co-ordinator will include inter alia: -
- Support Director Sports for administrative work of SVKM Schools/NMIMS University Sports Event.
- Ensure that Mumbai schools sports coaches are implementing the coaching to students as per prescribed schedule and plan.
- Support Director Sports in performing supervisory duties including training and coaching, planning, assigning and directing work and disciplining coaches, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Coordinate with P.E Teachers, coaches and institution’s coordinators of Mumbai schools for the smooth conduct of sports activity as per the institution's schedule.
- Coordinate with Sports in charge of NMIMS Schools for the smooth conduct of sports activities as per the institutions scheduled.
- Coordinate works with the P.E Teachers, Sports coaches, and other institution staff to ensure the planning and administrative tasks relating to sports carnivals, inter-school, inter-house and summer camp are carried out effectively and in a timely and collaborative manner.
- Provide a safe and enjoyable Sports environment for all students and well-organized sports programs that meet the various needs and interests of all students.
- Manage administrative duties associated with the sports training, participation in various tournaments and maintaining the relevant records/data regarding performance and update coaches/PE staff records, update all tournaments schedules, and ensure the equipment upkeep.
- Accompany with the teams to attending the competitions and tournaments, maintain the score and performance records.
- Serve as a point of contact for institutions coordinators or staff when sports-related service required or any inquiry arise.
- In addition, you shall perform other responsibilities may be assigned by the Director sports and the Management from time to time.
