Internship (Rolling Intake)

The Sports Authority of India, Central Regional Centre, Bhopal offers internship opportunities to students with strong academic records and a keen interest and aptitude for research in Sports Sciences at the SAI, Central Regional Centre in Bhopal. The internship can last for either 4-8 weeks or 12-24 weeks without any stipend. Learning outcomes Sports Nutrition (4-8 weeks) - Understand the fundamentals of various sports science subjects and their interrelationship with Sports Nutrition. - Develop competencies in assessing nutritional requirements of athletes and design appropriate nutrition plans. - Develop skills in sports food product development and evaluation. Sports Psychology (4-8 weeks) - Understand the fundamentals of Sports Psychology and its role in enhancing sports performance. - Develop competencies in conducting mental skills training for athletes. - Develop skills in applying psychological interventions for performance enhancement. Sports Biomechanics (12-24 weeks) - Understand the fundamentals of Biomechanics and its application in sports. - Develop competencies in motion analysis, force measurement and 3D reconstruction for sports performance enhancement. - Develop skills in designing and evaluating sports equipment/gear.
