We are seeking a talented and motivated SPM Design cum Proposal Engineer to join our team at AAtek - Agile Automation Technology Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and proposing solutions for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) projects. Department: Design
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Design Manager or Project Head
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop concepts for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) projects.
- Create detailed proposals for clients based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborating with internal teams & Suppliers to gather technical and financial data.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for proposed solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SPM design and proposal engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD inventor and other engineering tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
