About the role

The Principal Technical Program Manager is charged with leading large scale, global, technically complex initiatives end to end. Working cross functionally with a broad set of technical and business partners, you will use your solid technical proficiency, appreciation for simplicity and quality, critical thinking, and a bit of elbow grease, to drive programs that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Splunk's long range goals. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for accelerating and simplifying customer, partner, and employee experiences across various channels, functions, and platforms. You will face new challenges daily and identify creative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers. What You'll Be Doing: Lead and plan end-to-end technical programs or initiatives, with a clear and constant understanding of priorities to ensure expected outcomes are delivered. Architect programs that are large and complex into manageable workstreams and deliverables. Serve as the core spokesperson for the program, communicate program progress across all partners Identify and mitigate risks to ensure programs maintain forward momentum toward clear outcomes. Understand system interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams to align and deliver on technical solutions. Ensure clear accountability, timelines, and high-quality results. Provide expertise on process improvements and tools that lead to shared standard methodologies across teams. Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified: Deep experience in Enterprise Software Development and Delivery in the Cloud space, with LLM experience as a plus. Demonstrable ability to provide strategic input and guidance to partners and leaders around anticipated changes in direction and cascades priorities and objectives to teams Comprehensive experience facilitating, building, or overhauling existing processes for a more optimal outcome. Validated history influencing and affecting change at all levels of the organization without having positional authority. Extensive familiarity working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical team members. Broad hands-on experience and knowledge of Agile Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.
