Job Profile: Speech Recordings and Transcriptions in Local Dialects
The primary role involves recording conversations in a local dialect and transcribing them accurately. Since the goal is to build ASR models that can understand the nuances of different dialects, the job focuses on collecting authentic speech data that reflects how people naturally converse.
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and resources:
Basic Computer Knowledge and Typing Skills: Candidates must have the ability to operate a computer efficiently and type accurately.
Proficiency in the Native Language: Applicants must be able to read and understand both the local dialect and the standard version of their native language.
Educational Background: While not mandatory, having a degree or certification in a language-related course or program is an added advantage.
Personal Equipment:
