- Please note that while the majority of the work is conducted remotely for team members based ‘non-local’ to NYC, all team members are expected to be available to attend key on-site events 2-4 times per year in the NY office. The onsite weeks are scheduled in advance and travel expenses are covered by the business. Local NY based team members are required to work in the office 10–20% of the time.
- Salary (USD): $78,000-$85,000 for non-local US team members & $86,000-$93,000 for local New York based team members
The role
Spektrix has an exciting opportunity for a Global Payroll Specialist to join our People team! In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and timely administration of payroll across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
You'll report to our VP of People and manage payroll processing for all Spektrix team members, including UK, US, Canada, Australia, and future regions including deductions, reconciliations, and retirement plan administration. You will also handle employee inquiries, provide payroll related guidance, and prepare payroll data and reports as needed to support the business and audit requirements. Ultimately, the success of this role is achieved by delivering payroll timely and accurately across all regions and providing a seamless payroll experience for all Spektrix team members.

Working From Home
While many Spektrix team members live near one of our offices (NYC, London, or Manchester), remote/non-local team members work from home most of the time, and all team members work from home at least some of the time!
We provide reasonable support and all the hardware you need to get started, but we do require that you have the have the following in place to work from home:
- A quiet working space at home where you can consistently take video calls without interruption
- A strong, reliable internet connection that supports your participation in video calls and access to our systems and service
Working At The Office
For team members who are 'local' to NYC, a stipend is offered for each day you work on-site. Think of it as our way of easing potential commute related costs (but no need to prove it - this is a perk we offer for days worked onsite, regardless of how you choose to get there).
