About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a global project focused on building cloud-based systems for smart building environments. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team working on scalable, cloud-native IoT platforms that optimize energy usage and comfort in both residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-based IoT solutions.
  • Configure, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure.
  • Monitor and support production environments.
  • Support development teams throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across teams from architecture to frontend/backend implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar DevOps role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Proficiency in monitoring systems and network performance.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Programming/scripting experience (Python, Node.js, Java, or Go).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture.
  • Experience with infrastructure and application performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Docker, Visual Studio Code, or Kudu.
