We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will have to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and young adults.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication challenges.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student/intern’s needs.
· Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
· Collaborate with families, caregivers, special educators, and other therapists to ensure an integrated approach to care.
· Maintain detailed records of student/intern progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
· Educate and guide parents and caregivers on strategies to support therapy goals at home.
· Attend training sessions, programmatic meetings, and workshops as planned by Ashish Foundation.
We Are Looking For Someone With:
· A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) or bachelor’s degree (BASLP) from a recognized institution.
· Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
· Prior 3-5 years’ experience working with children or adults with a range of disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, hearing impairment, learning disabilities).
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills.
· Patience, creativity, and a passion for making a difference.
