Company Description
Brain Tree Child Development Centre is a multidisciplinary therapy center in Chennai that supports children with neurodevelopmental delays through a comprehensive range of services. The team offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and sensory integration therapy based on international approaches. Additional services include oral-motor therapy, reflex and hemispheric integration exercises, brain gym, cognitive therapy, and an early intervention program. The center also provides special education, yoga therapy, massage therapy, and manual therapy, creating a holistic environment for child development. Professionals joining the center collaborate closely with other specialists to deliver coordinated, child-centered care.
Role Description
Position: Speech Therapist (Part-Time)
Location: Brain Tree Child Development Centre, Valasaravakkam, Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: Freshers and Experienced Candidates Welcome
Job Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions for children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language disorders, and related conditions.
- Monitor progress and maintain therapy records.
- Provide guidance and counselling to parents/caregivers regarding home-based interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to achieve therapy goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech and Hearing / Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Registered professionals will be preferred.
