NIARC, also known as Nest, provides specialized assessments and therapies for children with developmental challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. Our highly skilled team offers services like behavior therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, ADL therapy, and special education. We emphasize early intervention, helping children develop essential daily living and communication skills, and utilize assistive technologies for ongoing support. Our family support center ensures regular follow-ups, progress evaluations, and comprehensive care tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children. Responsibilities include developing personalized therapy plans, working with children to improve speech clarity and communication abilities, addressing feeding and swallowing challenges such as dysphagia, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support the child's progress. Regular documentation and progress tracking are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech Therapy and related practices
- Knowledge of Speech, Language Disorders, and Communication Disorders
- Experience addressing feeding and swallowing challenges such as Dysphagia
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Relevant licensure or certification as required by regulations
- Experience working with children with developmental challenges is preferred
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate documentation
