Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Therapist based in Navi Mumbai. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), across diverse age groups. Responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy sessions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The role involves regular documentation of progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and communicating treatment goals and outcomes to clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. The Speech Therapist will also provide education on home-based exercises, participate in case discussions and team meetings, and contribute to continuous quality improvement in rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in Speech Therapy with the ability to conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver individualized therapy.
- Experience in evaluating and managing Speech and Communication Disorders, with a focus on functional improvement in daily communication.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language difficulties across age groups.
- Hands-on experience in assessment and management of Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and caregiver education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution; valid professional registration/licensure as applicable.
- Prior experience in rehabilitation, hospital, or clinic settings is preferred, especially with neurological and geriatric populations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage empathetically with clients and families.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
