Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children with diverse special needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing and updating individualized therapy plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress. The role involves collaborating closely with parents, teachers, and other specialists to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational and therapeutic plan. The Speech Therapist will also participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to awareness and training sessions, and help create a supportive, engaging environment for children.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and management of Communication Disorders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in treating Language Disorders and speech-related challenges.
- Candidates should possess competence in working with conditions such as Dysphagia and other swallowing-related difficulties.
- Recognized degree or diploma in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech and Hearing from an accredited institution.
- Relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
- Strong record-keeping skills, ethical practice, and commitment to continuous professional development.
