Speech & Theatre Mentor
Remote | Part-Time | LITWITS
LITWITS is seeking experienced Speech & Drama Educators trained in Trinity College London methodologies to mentor Primary and Middle School students in voice, performance, rhetoric, and dramatic expression.
We are looking for educators who can combine strong performance pedagogy with student mentorship to create engaging, confidence-building, and intellectually enriching learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coach Primary & Middle School students through Trinity College London Speech & Drama frameworks
Train students in vocal technique, including breath control, projection, articulation, pitch, pacing, and expressive delivery
Guide students through solo and duo performance pieces with emphasis on interpretation, characterisation, emotional truth, and stage presence
Mentor students in spoken prose, poetry, storytelling, and devised drama formats
Develop students’ confidence in public speaking, dramatic expression, and performance communication
Assess student readiness and curate personalised repertoire pathways aligned with Trinity levels and student goals
Deliver engaging and structured online sessions while maintaining high mentorship standards
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Speech & Drama, Theatre Education, or Performance Coaching
Trinity College London Certification in Speech & Drama/Theatre preferred
Strong command over spoken English, vocal training, and performance techniques
Experience working with Primary and Middle School students in an academic or enrichment environment
Ability to conduct interactive and high-engagement online sessions
Passion for mentoring, communication training, and confidence-building education
