Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Thripunithura, Kochi for a Speech Language Pathologist. The primary responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in children. The role involves developing individualized therapy plans, providing direct therapy sessions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for each child. Active participation in team meetings and parent counseling may also be required as part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and treating various speech challenges
- Speech and language assessments, knowledge in various assessment tools.
- Strong understanding of Speech and Communication Disorders
- Specialized knowledge in identifying and managing Language Disorders
- Experience in diagnosing and treating Dysphagia
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and team members
- Must have a valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Registration.
- Prior experience in pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting children with developmental challenges
