Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madipakkam, Chennai for a Speech Language Pathologist. The responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The professional will develop personalized therapy plans, provide intervention for conditions such as speech impairments, language delays, and dysphagia, and collaborate with families and caregivers to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, monitoring progress and documenting treatment outcomes is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and expertise in managing Speech-related concerns
- Ability to assess and treat Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in addressing Communication Disorders
- Skills in understanding and treating Language Disorders across various age groups
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field
- Relevant licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is a plus
