Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist, located in Bengaluru North. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders in children. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop individualized therapy plans, provide hands-on treatment, and collaborate with other professionals and families to support the child’s development. Additional responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting evaluations and therapy sessions, and educating families on techniques to facilitate communication growth at home.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and addressing Speech-related challenges
- Experience in diagnosing and managing Communication and Language Disorders
- Knowledge of interventions for Dysphagia and other swallowing-related disorders
- Strong expertise in treating various Communication and Language Disorders including articulation, fluency, and social communication issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage children and build trust with families
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field and relevant certifications
- Previous experience working in a pediatric setting is advantageous
- Passion for working with children and improving their communication abilities through customized and evidence-based interventions
