Role Description This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is based at Mind and Brain Hospital in Bangalore Urban. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients across age groups, including those with neuropsychiatric and behavioral conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, providing dysphagia management and swallowing interventions, and documenting progress in alignment with hospital protocols. The role involves collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff to integrate speech and language goals into comprehensive care plans. The Speech Language Pathologist will also educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing, while participating in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech-related challenges.
- Ability to assess and treat Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Clinical experience in evaluating and treating Dysphagia and swallowing difficulties.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration or eligibility for registration as a Speech Language Pathologist, as applicable.
- Experience working with neuropsychiatric or behavioral health populations is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and patient education skills, with a collaborative team approach.
- Strong documentation, case management, and time-management abilities, with commitment to ethical practice.
