Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Speech and Language Therapist. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The therapist will also work with patients experiencing dysphagia, design treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Additionally, providing support to families for effective communication strategies will be an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech Therapy and managing Speech-related conditions
- Knowledge in addressing Dysphagia and therapy interventions for swallowing difficulties
- Proficient in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders
- Experience with Language Disorders and developing language improvement plans
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with a client-focused approach
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field
- Relevant licensure or certification as required by local regulations
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus
