About the Internship Spectrum is inviting applications for the 2026 Summer Internship Program for the role of Associate DevOps Engineer. This program is a 10-week, full-time internship designed for STEM students seeking hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Computing, and Software Engineering within the telecommunications industry. Career growth insights into one of the largest telecom companies in the U.S. Responsibilities As an Associate DevOps Engineer Intern, you will: Support cloud deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines. Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical and system issues. Develop and optimize software subsystems to support production launches. Work with databases, SQL queries, and performance optimization. Collaborate with teams to implement innovative DevOps solutions. Gain exposure to telecommunications infrastructure and mobile billing systems. Required Qualifications To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria: Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027. Strong technical knowledge of databases, SQL, cloud systems, and DevOps tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Skills Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP. Understanding of networking and security fundamentals. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
