Fiber Technician - Kilgore Posting Description: Spectrum is looking for a Fiber Technician to join our team in Kilgore, TX. As a Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Spectrum's fiber optic network infrastructure. This includes splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and equipment. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and equipment - Splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and equipment - Ensure network uptime and reliability - Provide excellent customer service - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures - Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of experience in the telecommunications or cable industry - Experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting - Strong technical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Valid driver's license and good driving record - Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
