At Spectrum, we are transforming the way people connect with information, entertainment and each other. Join our team as a BI ETL Developer II (AWS Redshift) to help build and maintain our data warehousing and business intelligence solutions on AWS Redshift.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to load and transform data into Redshift data warehouses
- Enhance and maintain Redshift data models, schemas, and views
- Implement data lineage, data quality monitoring, and error handling
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Continuously improve data pipeline performance and reliability
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ETL processes, ideally with Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, or other modern data warehousing platforms
- Proficient in SQL, and experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data normalization techniques
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, or Airflow
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
