About the role
Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring multiple Structural Engineers (GVL Centrus) in Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects
- Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to:
- Seismic and wind analyses
- Foundation design
- Structural framing analyses and design
- Bracing analyses and design
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Basic Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in:
- Design
- Estimating
- Specification preparation
- Construction document preparation
- Related phases of engineering
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
