🔍 Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Specification Manager to lead specification efforts and build strong relationships with top architects, consultants, and MEP firms. This role is critical in influencing project outcomes and driving brand approvals across key commercial projects in the Mumbai market.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading architects, consultants, and MEP firms (e.g., DSP, Edifice, M Moser, Space Matrix)
- Drive brand approvals in BOQs and tender documents across key projects
- Develop and execute a specification strategy for the Mumbai region
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Manage project pipelines, dashboards, and opportunity tracking
- Drive conversion from specification to order closure
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to convert approvals into business
- Engage early in project cycles to secure preferred vendor positioning
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle (design to execution)
- Ensure effective cross-functional coordination (Sales, Design, Execution teams)
✅ Key Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Specification / Project Sales
- Proven track record of team leadership and scaling operations
- Strong network with top architects and MEP consultants in Mumbai
- Demonstrated success in securing BOQ approvals
- Solid understanding of the commercial project ecosystem
- Strong leadership mindset with ownership and accountability
- Expertise in pipeline management, dashboards, and reporting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
