- Contents of work and Research Field:
The University of Tsukuba is seeking to fill one Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will belong to the Experimental Nuclear Physics Group in the institute of Pure and Applied Sciences and will conduct experimental research in nuclear physics. The candidate is expected to actively promote research in experimental nuclear physics, including contributions to the current and future international experiment ALICE/ALICE3. In particular, the candidate is expected to actively promote the development of next-generation high-granularity silicon pixel detectors. The appointee will also contribute to education in the College of Physics and the Degree Programs in Pure and Applied Sciences and will supervise and support the research activities of undergraduate and graduate students in collaboration with the current group members.

Overtime and other explanations: Working hours: 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 5 days per week, 38 hours 45 minutes per week, based on agreement, either discretionary labor system for professional work (the working hours for a day are deemed as 7 hours 45 minutes) or fixed working hours system (including variable working hours system) will be applied.
Annual income: 4 million Yen ~ 7 million Yen
Basic annual salary system (annual salary amount is based on University of Tsukuba's
regulations)
