Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in SAP ABAP, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions for our enterprise clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our SAP systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the latest industry standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate to deliver timely and innovative solutions, driving our company's success in the SAP domain.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Enhance and maintain existing SAP ABAP applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, contributing to the company's technical roadmap.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP issues, providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Document and communicate technical designs, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, and experience with SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
