Purpose Of The Position (Short Summary)
- Developing test cases for components like Instrument Cluster.
- Support development of components and testing functions for Cluster, CID, and FID.
- Technical assessment of suppliers and review of technical presentations.
- Coordinate with Supplier / Purchase / ŠKODA MB / CFT for development.
- Conduct functional and mechanical testing at component and vehicle level.
- Provide release recommendations for P/B/BMG and K release.
- Support field issue resolution.
Authority:
- Decide the strategy for localization.
- Conduct technical reviews with suppliers.
- Support localization activities.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical and Electronics sub‑systems & components.
- Knowledge of various development standards.
- Experience in development and validation of Cluster functions.
- Ability to perform vehicle‑level and bench‑level testing.
- Coordination for all cluster functions for ICE and BEV.
- Good administrative skills: ability to plan and develop structure.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Support technical reviews and technical assessment of suppliers. Coordinate cluster and CID functions and develop test cases to validate end‑to‑end interfaces.
- Study SAVWIPL testing standards and formulate DVP for Cluster components. Coordinate with suppliers and function owners in ŠKODA MB to prove concepts and new features from a cluster functions perspective.
- Support suppliers in understanding requirements and assist component owners in validation of parts.
- Create workflows and provide recommendations for BMG with required reports. Provide recommendations for Cluster P/B/BMG/K releases.
- Track timely releases of components for car builds and support VAVE/PKO initiatives.
- Continuously seek, identify, and coordinate new Indian technologies / development opportunities based on competitor trends, market needs, customer requirements, supplier inputs, and manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure project targets and milestones (time, cost, quality) are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements such as Specifications (LAH), regulatory standards, homologation requirements, and identified KPIs.
- Support regular development team meetings; facilitate discussions within teams, across departments, with development consultants, suppliers, and ŠKODA MB to arrive at optimal product solutions.
- Support relevant teams based on PEP guidelines and ensure milestones (technical and budgetary) are completed within timelines and with desired outcomes.
