Role Description
Job Title: Specialist II - Data Science UST is looking for an experienced AI Architect / AI Lead to design, architect, and lead enterprise AI and GenAI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, AI frameworks, MLOps, and AI platform engineering, along with experience in leading and mentoring teams and driving scalable AI solution implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable, secure, and production-ready AI/ML and GenAI solutions.
Lead development of LLM-based applications including RAG pipelines, AI agents, prompt engineering, and semantic search solutions.
Define end-to-end AI architecture covering data pipelines, model orchestration, creating reusable frameworks, APIs, monitoring, and governance.
Build and implement AI/ML workflows using Dataiku.
Conduct architecture and design reviews ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Mentor and guide AI/ML engineers and developers on best practices and solution design.
Drive innovation and adoption of emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
Drive implementation of MLOps practices including CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in AI/ML solution architecture.
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and enterprise AI solution development.
Strong working experience with Dataiku.
Strong experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and AI model deployment.
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, RAG architectures, and AI orchestration frameworks
Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
Expertise in MLOps frameworks, model lifecycle management, and AI platform engineering.
Strong knowledge of scalable system design, APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
Overall experience working with web applications is an added advantage.
