Summary
UST is looking for an experienced UI Engineering & Front-End Architecture Leader who can drive modern web development initiatives, bring strong technical expertise, and lead complex front-end solutions across large-scale applications.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Architect/UI Engineering Expert with extensive experience in building scalable, high-performance, and intuitive web applications. The role involves driving architectural decisions, leading UI engineering practices, mentoring teams, and ensuring the delivery of world-class front-end solutions across projects.
What You Need
- Design and implement scalable front-end architectures for enterprise applications.
- Lead development efforts using modern frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, backend, and product teams.
- Ensure performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design across deliverables.
- Drive adoption of best practices in coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and frameworks where appropriate.
- Mentor and guide UI engineers and developers.
- Oversee the integration of micro-frontends and modern rendering strategies
Required Skills
- 12+ years of progressive experience in UI engineering and front-end architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- React.js (hooks, context, advanced patterns, performance optimization)
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- TypeScript
- Remix (SSR, routing, loaders/actions, data flow)
- Strong understanding of:
- Micro-frontends
- SSR, CSR, and modern rendering strategies
- Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Strong expertise in testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
Desired Skills
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for front-end deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools and monitoring solutions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in front-end engineering or cloud technologies are a plus.
