**This position will be based at their plant located at Oragadam, , Sriperumbudur
** Bus facility available
** The position will be with their Foundation & will be on contract basis.
Experience: Around 5+ years in CSR/Sustainability project management profile. (Manufacturing set up experience preferred)
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, MBA with Rural Management or Development Studies
Job Responsibilities
1. CSR Programme Management/Strategies
· Leading the CSR and Sustainability initiatives at Chennai manufacturing location
· Developing the strategies and programme for CSR Chennai location
· Overall responsibility of driving the CSR (including CSR reporting as per CSR Policy; Annual Reports; Partner Agreements, CSR Programme selection and other activities
· Creating and developing a roadmap for future CSR activities for Chennai location
· Work through internal and external stakeholders for smooth execution of CSR initiatives
· Conducting baseline studies, to identify projects in alignment with the sustainable development goals and the organisation’s objectives
2. Sustainability Project Management at plant level
· Representation of Sustainability team at plant
· Data collection and compilation for sustainability reporting
· Identify and initiate key sustainability initiatives with various departments
· Supporting HO Sustainability team for conducting audits and reviews
· Coordinate Sustainability meetings at plant level
· Ensuring execution and monitoring of Sustainability projects at plant level
· Organising days celebrations such as Environment Day, Biodiversity Day etc at plant
3. Budget Management
· Formulate the annual CSR and Sustainability programme plan based on obligatory spend and allocate the budget to new/existing program as per CSR/Sustainability strategy
· Scrutiny of the budget submitted by NGOs / partner agency and budget negotiation
· Monitoring the budget utilization vs plan, identifying the gaps and develop plan for effective utilization of funds
· Monthly and Quarterly review of annual CSR /Sustainability plan against allocation
· Ensuring compliance of financial SOP’s and timelines
4. Programme Monitoring & Evaluation
· Maintain the defined timelines for reporting
· Preparation & updating of Monitoring &Evaluation plan for each project
· Quarterly project review with project partners. Review all CSR programme reports- programmatic, financial, compliance and branding
· Development of quarterly PPT for Board and Unit Head update
· Conducting mid line assessments for gap identification and mid course correction
· Conducting impact assessment to evaluate the core outcomes
· Ensuring audit protocol
5. Partner Enrolment and Management
· Overall selection and Management of CSR partners based on selection criteria and CSR vision and mission and maintaining the data base
· Ensuring monitoring and auditing of CSR programme, creating performance indicators and measure the performance of the partner against the indicators
· Ensuring compliance of all CSR project and reporting related SOPs
· Conducting capacity building trainings of the NGO staff
6. Stakeholder Management and Partnerships
· Liason with the external stakeholders including local government, various departments, corporates
· Updating internal stakeholder such as Unit Heads, HR and various other department heads
· Management of the team members and providing hand holding support
· Driving employee volunteering initiatives in coordination with internal stakeholders
· Work with cross functional departments
· Fund raising and identification of like-minded corporate and NGOs for project implementation
7. Communication and Visibility
· Regular monthly and quarterly update to Unit Head/ HR Head and other department heads about CSR initiatives
· Regular updates to plant employees about CSR /Sustainability initiatives through various channels like newsletter, emailers etc
· Regular updates to external stakeholders through stakeholder meetings, events etc
· Representation and participation in various CSR/Sustainability forums
· Applying for prestigious CSR/Sustainability awards
