To develop finance graduates who combine deep financial theory with hands-on modelling proficiency, sector knowledge, and the professional polish demanded by top BFSI and consulting recruiters.
To position the Finance specialisation as a credible pipeline for leading banks, NBFCs, investment

• Stay current with RBI and SEBI regulatory developments, capital market trends, and fintech
evolution to update curriculum every trimester
• Develop India-specific finance case studies — corporate restructuring, M&A scenarios, IPO
analysis, and credit evaluation cases
• Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Relations on BFSI recruiter relationships and placement
strategy for finance students
• Represent the Finance specialisation in academic council, accreditation processes, and industry
advisory board engagements
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

minimum) strongly preferred
• Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 4 years in industry — corporate finance, investment
banking, equity research, or financial services
• Deep expertise in financial modelling, DCF/comparable valuation, and financial statement analysis
— must be able to teach this hands-on
• Strong understanding of Indian capital markets, banking regulations, and BFSI sector dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to build student competency in finance through structured, outcomes-based curriculum design
PREFERRED / HIGHLY DESIRABLE CRITERIA
• CFA Charterholder or FRM designation
• Investment banking, equity research, treasury, or private equity experience at a recognised firm

• Familiarity with fintech, algorithmic trading, and digital lending — emerging areas driving finance
hiring
