The Role
SASE invites applications for a full-time, on-site position for a Special Needs / Inclusive Educator based in Bengaluru.
This role sits at the heart of our commitment to meaningful and individualised education. It involves working closely with learners across diverse developmental, emotional, sensory, and learning profiles, while helping shape environments where dignity, belonging, and authentic participation remain central.
The work calls for attentiveness rather than standardisation. Educators are expected to observe deeply, respond thoughtfully, and design learning experiences that recognise the uniqueness of each learner. The role involves supporting learners within classroom environments, collaborating with educators across programmes, and contributing towards a culture of inclusion that is both reflective and humane in its practice.
Inclusion here is not approached as a separate department or isolated intervention, but as a living educational responsibility shared across the community. The role therefore requires close collaboration with families, educators, therapists, and the wider school environment in order to sustain continuity, trust, and meaningful support for learners.
Who This May Suit
This role may resonate with educators who:
• Hold experience of 3 years in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Psychology, or related developmental fields
• Approach neurodiversity with sensitivity, respect, and intellectual openness rather than deficit-based frameworks
• Are able to design or adapt learning experiences in ways that are responsive to varied learning profiles and developmental needs
• Communicate with warmth, patience, and clarity while working with learners, families, and colleagues
• Value observation, reflection, and relational understanding as important educational tools
• Find alignment with progressive, alternative, or human-centred approaches to education
• Remain open to evolving their practice through dialogue, collaboration, and continued learning.
This is a role for educators who understand that inclusion is not merely about accommodation, but about recognising the inherent dignity, agency, and potential of every learner.
