Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized learning plans aligned with IB PYP/MYP frameworks for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies for inclusive participation.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data-driven approaches.
- Partner with parents and caregivers to establish consistent communication and support home-school alignment.
- Facilitate social-emotional learning and executive functioning skill-building within inclusive settings.
- Contribute to school-wide inclusion initiatives and professional development workshops for faculty.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- IB PYP or MYP training certification
- Special Education certification (B.Ed. or M.Ed. in Special Education)
- Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
- Proficiency in assistive technology tools for learning support
- Knowledge of inclusive pedagogy and differentiated instruction
- Understanding of child psychology and behavioral intervention models
- Preferred
- Experience in international or IB schools
- Training in trauma-informed practices or ADHD/autism-specific strategies
- Familiarity with IB Learner Profile and ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills
