Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Special Educator at our Bengaluru location. The Special Educator will work closely with children to create individualized learning plans, adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse needs, and collaborate with parents and therapists to provide holistic care. Key responsibilities include teaching, supporting children with disabilities, ensuring effective communication, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Special Education and experience working with children with Disabilities
- Proficiency in Teaching techniques, particularly with middle school-aged children
- Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passionate about creating an inclusive environment and contributing to each child’s growth and milestones
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Previous experience or training in play-based and child-centered approaches is an advantage
