Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Special Educator. The Special Educator will work closely with children, teachers, and parents to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Day-to-day tasks include providing targeted teaching support to students, identifying areas of need, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize learning environments. The role emphasizes guidance for middle school students and fostering communication skills within a supportive and inclusive setting.
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in handling Disabilities and implementing Special Education practices
- Teaching expertise, particularly with middle school students
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and other stakeholders
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) is an advantage
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Certification or training in Special Education is a plus
