We’re Hiring: Special Educator (Early Intervention)
We are looking for a part time/ full time passionate and skilled Special Educator to join ourEarly Intervention Program at Neubon Child Development Centre at Medway Hospital
Mogappair.
This role involves working with young children (primarily 1.6– 3.6 years) with developmentaldelays, and Autism Spectrum Disorder as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct small-group intervention sessions along side our therapists
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists
- Support school readiness, pre-academic, and functional skill development
- Provide parent guidance and home program support
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong foundational knowledge in early childhood and developmental disorders
- Is comfortable working in a team-based, centered model
- Can translate assessment findings into structured intervention plans
- Has good communication skills with both parents and professionals
Preferred Experience:
- Early intervention / preschool-based therapy
- Experience with ASD, ADHD, and developmental delays
- Familiarity with play-based and evidence-informed approaches
Required Qualifications: RCI Registration as a B.Ed or M.Ed Special Education is
mandatory
