Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Educator based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves working with children with developmental delays or disabilities, designing and implementing individualized education plans, and delivering tailored interventions. The Special Educator will collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support the educational progress and emotional well-being of students. Monitoring and documenting progress and adjusting plans accordingly will be a key part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Special Education and working with children with disabilities.
- Teaching expertise, particularly in accommodating the needs of middle school-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is an advantage.
