Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kukatpally branch of Lotus Hospital, Hyderabad for a Special Educator. The role involves supporting children with diverse developmental needs through specialized education plans. Responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing tailored teaching strategies, and collaborating with families, teachers, and medical staff. The Special Educator will also provide guidance to help the child achieve their educational and personal development goals within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in Special Education, preferably specialised in Autism spectrum disorder, Intellectual disability, Specific learning disability.
- Knowledge and understanding of working with individuals with disabilities and diverse learning needs
- Strong Communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Empathy, patience, and adaptability to support children with unique learning challenges
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, or a related field with RCI registration
- Relevant certifications in special education or learning support are a plus.
