Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Educator located in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The Special Educator will be responsible for working with students with disabilities, developing and delivering tailored educational plans, and liaising with parents and other educators. Daily tasks include teaching middle school-aged students, conducting assessments, identifying specific learning needs, and fostering inclusive learning environments. The role requires a collaborative approach with colleagues and an understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Special Education and working with students with disabilities
- Teaching experience, especially with middle school students
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of inclusive education practices and the ability to develop IEPs
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Relevant certifications in special education or disability support (preferred)
- Patient, compassionate, and adaptable to diverse learning needs
