Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Special Educator, located in Mani Majra, Chandigarh. The Special Educator will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Tasks include collaborating with educators and families, providing one-on-one or group support, conducting assessments, and creating an inclusive classroom environment. The educator will also work closely with middle school students, addressing diverse learning needs and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders to enhance student progress and development.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Special Education and working with students with Disabilities
- Experience in Teaching, particularly in a middle school environment
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in special education are highly preferred
