Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Special Education Teacher. The individual will provide tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborate with general educators, families, and therapy professionals. Responsibilities include creating inclusive learning strategies, regularly assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive classroom environment. The candidate will also act as a resource for promoting understanding and best practices in special education within the school community.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Special Education and working with students with diverse Disabilities
- Strong Teaching skills, particularly in Middle School education settings
- Exceptional Communication skills for collaboration with families, educators, and other stakeholders
- Ability to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Relevant teaching certification in Special Education or comparable qualifications
- Experience or understanding of using evidence-based interventions in educational contexts
