Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Mumbai. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized education programs tailored to students with diverse needs. Responsibilities include teaching core subjects to middle school students, developing learning strategies for students with disabilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, collaborating with parents and other educators, and monitoring progress to ensure educational objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Experience in Special Education and supporting students with Disabilities
- Expertise in Teaching, particularly with Middle School students
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, students, and faculty
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with diverse learning needs
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field
- Relevant certifications or licensure in Special Education
