Role Description

This is a Part-time, remote position for a Special Education Teacher. The role involves working closely with middle school students who have diverse learning needs, developing personalized learning plans, and employing teaching strategies tailored to the unique challenges of special education. The teacher will foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, provide instructional support, communicate progress effectively with parents or guardians, and collaborate with other educators to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Teaching, with a focus on developing and delivering tailored instruction
• Experience and expertise in Special Education and working with students with Disabilities
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and educational teams
• Prior experience in teaching middle school students is highly desirable
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Teaching certification or degree in Special Education requiring 2-4 years of experience is preferred
