About the role

The Senior Manager of Partner Marketing is responsible for owning and executing the full lifecycle of partner-driven growth at Spear Education. This role sits within the Marketing team and reports to the VP of Marketing, while working in close partnership with the Director of Partnerships to drive acquisition, conversion, and expansion through strategic partner initiatives.

This individual will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of partner marketing programs. They will translate partnership strategies into scalable marketing motions, ensuring partner-sourced leads effectively convert into customers and continue to grow in value over time.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong ownership, strategic thinking, and operational execution across marketing, partnerships, product, and revenue teams. In addition, this role will interface directly with partner contacts and must build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at partner companies. In some cases, they will serve as primary contact at Spear for our partners and must ensure partner programs are running smoothly, progress reports are shared and our shared goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for partnership-driven revenue initiatives
  • Translate partnership opportunities into clear acquisition, conversion, and retention plans
  • Build and execute integrated campaigns that drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue and report on the success of those campaigns to our partners and internal team members
  • Identify new growth opportunities within existing and prospective partner relationships

Lead Lifecycle & Conversion Optimization

  • Define and manage the journey from partner lead to customer
  • Partner with Sales and RevOps to ensure clear handoffs, attribution, and follow-up processes
  • Optimize conversion rates across the funnel through messaging, targeting, and campaign improvements
  • Develop programs to drive activation, adoption, and expansion for partner-sourced customers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Partnerships to align on priorities, partner tiers, and joint go-to-market plans
  • Collaborate with Marketing (demand gen, content, lifecycle) to execute campaigns and programs
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure strong positioning and messaging for partner audiences
  • Coordinate with Design and Content teams to develop high-quality partner-facing assets
  • Align with Product to support partner integrations, launches, and co-marketing opportunities

Program Management & Operations

  • Own execution of multiple concurrent partner initiatives and campaigns
  • Build scalable processes for launching, tracking, and optimizing partner programs
  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks for partner marketing performance
  • Ensure consistent execution across all partner touchpoints and initiatives

Performance & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth from partner channels
  • Track and report on partner marketing performance, including lead quality, conversion, and customer value
  • Continuously optimize programs based on data and insights
  • Contribute to forecasting and goal-setting for partnership-driven revenue

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong preference for partner marketing, growth, or demand generation
  • Proven ability to own and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience working closely with partnerships, sales, and product teams
  • Strong understanding of funnel metrics, lead lifecycle management, and revenue attribution
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Priority will be given to candidates located in the Greater Phoenix Metro area.  However, we will consider remote for the right candidate.
