Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Spare Parts Location Manager to lead and manage spare parts operations at our Nashik dealership. The role is responsible for ensuring optimum inventory levels, seamless availability of parts, efficient coordination with internal departments, and driving parts sales while maintaining high operational standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Stock Management:
- Maintain optimum stock levels for fast-moving and critical spare parts
- Monitor FSN (Fast, Slow, Non-moving) inventory regularly
- Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure 100% stock accuracy
- Minimize dead stock and control obsolescence
2. Procurement & Ordering:
- Plan and place spare parts orders based on consumption patterns
- Coordinate with OEM / vendors for timely procurement
- Track order status and ensure on-time delivery
3. Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive spare parts sales through workshop and counter sales
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Promote accessories and value-added products
4. Operations Management:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the parts department
- Maintain proper binning, storage, and handling of parts
- Implement and follow SOPs as per dealership and OEM standards
5. Team Management:
- Lead, supervise, and develop the parts team (storekeepers, counter staff)
- Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations
- Ensure discipline, productivity, and team engagement
6. Inter-Department Coordination:
- Coordinate closely with Service, Bodyshop, and Sales teams
- Ensure parts availability for timely vehicle service and delivery
7. Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and OEM guidelines
- Handle internal and external audits effectively
- Maintain proper documentation and records
8. Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and order cycle time
- Analyze data and implement corrective actions for improvement
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts and dealership operations
- Expertise in inventory management and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting, data analysis)
- Hands-on experience in SAP / ERP systems (especially inventory & procurement modules)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in spare parts management in an automobile dealership
- Experience in handling location-level operations is mandatory
