Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Spanish Teacher. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum materials, and adapting content to meet individual students’ learning needs. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, tutoring students to enhance their language proficiency, and providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Collaboration with other team members to maintain high teaching standards may also be required.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Spanish Teaching, with experience in delivering lessons for diverse learning levels
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Proficiency in Teaching and Tutoring techniques for language acquisition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and platforms
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the virtual teaching environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers is an asset
- Certification in Spanish Language (DELE or other recognized credentials) is a plus
